SYNOPSIS
Lover's Go To Mars is a science fiction romantic comedy that explores the relationship between two newly wed astronauts right before an eight year exploratory mission to Mars. The closer to launch time the more distant the couple seem. Lovers Go To Mars qualified as a Senior Thesis Film at the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2019.

Nico Rinciari
Lovers Go to Mars is a surrealistic comedy that talks about relationships between different people. Many times we ask ourself the question if being similar is a necessary condition to share any form of relationships or if it's just an illusion that prevent us from really understanding each other.
Nico is a Film and Animation major at the Savannah College of Art and Design. He was born in Palermo, Sicily. Since he was a kid, he had a huge passion for telling stories visually in an emotional engaging way. From the age of 13, he started realizing and then directing multiple multimedia products; from live-action and animated short films, to promotional and educational advertisements. He won many recognitions in his city, nationally and Internationally. With his last short film, "The Story of a Whisper", he has won the Outstanding Achievement Prize at the Berlin Flash Film Festival and has been nominated for several others film festivals.
